Anxiety Stress Management

It is normal to feel anxious at times in life, especially around significant deadlines or big life transitions. When but when feelings of worry are overwhelming, recurring, and not directly linked to stressful events, anxiety can leave a person severely impaired. Excessive or unproductive worrying, unmanageable panic sensations, irritability, avoidance of doing things you want or need to do and unrealistic fears are the most common symptoms of problematic anxiety. Learning skills, in therapy, like mindfulness can be extremely effective in expanding awareness and softening our approach with ourselves leading to less worry and avoidance.
